We are now living in the most technologically advanced society in our history. With the emergence of wireless technology, distance learning, and broad-band access, we are challenged to keep up with an ever evolving industry that has an influence on how we learn, work, and play.

How do we keep up with information that doubles every eighteen months to two and a half years? How do we educate student's that have diverse learning styles and learn more in a single year than many of their family members learned in a life-time? As educators, workforce development providers, career coaches, social workers, and trainers we attempt to answer these questions daily, and we attempt to utilize technology by deploying computer labs and utilizing web-based applications. What we discover is that it is hard to keep up with the technology, we lack the training and profession development to effectively integrate the use of technology, and we rely on technology sales representatives to explain how the technology can be integrated into your organization.
